CoVideo: Sheila’s 60-second Tip of the Week (May 15, 2009)

It’s Easy “Going Green” With CoVideo Systems

Following is the transcript of the video you probably just watched:

Hi, this is Sheila with CoVideo.  And this is your 60-second tip of the week.  News flash.  “Go Green!”  Everybody’s “going green”, and you can “go green” too.  With your CoVideo system, sending out a video instead of maybe a … paper thank you … is a great way to “go green”.  On top of … instead of traveling across the state to meet with that client face to face … one on one, “go green” and send a video email.  I want you to know that CoVideo is a world-class presentation and conferencing system.  We are not just your regular video email company.  So, as you think about “going green”, you need to also know that our goal is to “Connect Your World Daily”.  This is Sheila with CoVideo, and I hope you have a fabulous week focusing on “going green”.

I bet you chose to watch the video … or a part of it … before you read the transcript. I challenge you to watch and read both and compare your reaction. Which would you rather receive in your inbox? Which communicates more?

That’s the “power of video” and with Video Email you have the ability to communicate better, faster, and with greater impact to and understanding by the recipient / viewer.

Send “Thank You Notes” With Video Email Instead

Following is the transcript of the video you probably just watched:

“Hi, It’s Sheila with CoVideo.  And this is your 60-second Tip of the Week. Just wanting you to know that entrepreneurs know the importance of sending out a thank you card immediately after having a business encounter with them.  I want you to know the importance of sending out a CoVideo instead.  Why?  Because it’s that personal touch.  They can see the expression on your face, the excitement in your voice, and the aspect of the fact that you’ve met with them and you’re excited to business with them again.  So, let me encourage you.  Send out a video everyday.  Touch base with those you’ve already seen today.  You can even go back as far as yesterday.  Don’t stress about or think about going back any further.  But right now, start today touching base with people you’ve met … just today.  This is Sheila with CoVideo, and I hope you have a fabulous week.”

One of my Google Alert emails picked up on a article brief that referenced video email and a term I’d never heard before … “Video Email Snacks”.

Hotelier Combats Info Hunger With Video Snacks

Julie Keyser-Squires, vice president of Atlanta-based Softscribe Inc., calls it a video email snack: a social media product that enables clients to reach key audiences.

Video is not only the next big thing on the web, but arguably the most significant thing in its immediate future. “As the web evolves from information to an interactive environment, video is emerging as the next great frontier of communication and collaboration,” says Marthin De Beer, senior vice president of Cisco’s Emerging Technologies Group. “We’re just beginning to scratch the surface of how visual networking will define the next phase of the Internet.”

Video press releases–or video email snacks–are just a few potential examples.

Due to doctor/patient confidentiality and general privacy concerns, I’ve wondered before about the extent to which video email and other cutting-edge communication technologies might be adopted by practitioners within the medical community.  Altough it doesn’t appear to be the major focus of the report, the article says the report ”considers the new ways consumers and providers are finding to interact via advanced technologies.”

CoVideo: Sheila’s 60-second Tip of the Week (May 1, 2009)

Use the System Everyday and Be Creative

Following is the transcript of the video you probably just watched:

Hi, it’s Sheila with CoVideo.  And this is your 60-second tip of the week.  Well, the dogs are barking, the kids are running in the front door, and I have to be somewhere in ten minutes.  But I could not leave without telling you about the experience I had with using this CoVideo system this week.  It’s a marketing experience where I demonstrated four products on my face … and then I sent it to all my prospects … and all my past and present clients.  Well, guess what?  Before I pressed “send”, I clicked that little button at the bottom that says “Let me know when they view the video”.  My email has been torn up with all kinds of replies.  Well, the great thing is all I need to do now is call them and ask them what they think and take the order.  But the greatest, craziest thing is they’re already emailing me saying “send me the stuff”.  So, I want to encourage you to get creative with using your CoVideo system.  Get creative with marketing … and daily promote your product by using this system.  Encouraging you the system everyday, this is Sheila with CoVideo, and I hope you have a fabulous week.

I bet you chose to watch the video … or a part of it … before you read the transcript. I challenge you to watch and read both and compare your reaction. Which would you rather receive in your inbox? Which communicates more?
